Meet Ms. Cha Pei Pei: A Trailblazer in Education

At Fun Learners School, we are proud to introduce our Co-Founder and Vice Principal, Ms. Cha Pei Pei, whose dedication and passion have greatly influenced the way education is delivered. With an outstanding academic background and a creative approach to teaching, Ms. Cha has played a pivotal role in shaping the school's vision and success.

A Strong Academic Foundation

Ms. Cha’s academic achievements lay the foundation for her successful career in education. She was an ASEAN Scholar at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she earned a Bachelor of Science with Second Upper Class Honours and made the Dean’s List twice. She continued her studies by pursuing two master’s degrees from the University of Western Australia—a Master of Educational Research and a Master of Education.

Beyond her academic degrees, Ms. Cha earned a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers with Distinction, along with the HSK Certificate of Chinese Proficiency (Grade A), a top-level qualification that solidifies her status as a high achiever.

A Passion for Teaching

Ms. Cha's teaching career began during her undergraduate years, where she found her passion while offering private tuition. Her early experience with teaching sparked her drive to make a greater impact, leading her to fund her own teaching diploma to enhance her skills. This initiative underscores her dedication to creating a meaningful and lasting influence on her students.

Innovative Education Tools

Recognizing the challenges many students face when learning Chinese, Ms. Cha set out to create new ways to engage students. One of her key innovations is "Han Twister," an educational game she developed to make learning Chinese more interactive and enjoyable. Through this creative approach, she has made language learning a more accessible and positive experience for her students.

Influenced by Carl Rogers

Ms. Cha’s teaching philosophy draws inspiration from Carl Rogers, a renowned psychologist known for his belief in creating a supportive and trusting learning environment. Like Rogers, Ms. Cha believes that each student should have the opportunity to explore their potential and learn in a way that encourages self-direction and creativity.

Effective and Engaging Teaching Methods

Ms. Cha’s teaching strategies are rooted in practicality, versatility, and a focus on personalized learning. She believes that regular practice, combined with a flexible and adaptive teaching style, is essential to student success. By giving timely and constructive feedback, she ensures her students remain motivated and engaged in their learning journey.

A Global Perspective in Education

In addition to her work at Fun Learners School, Ms. Cha brings her expertise to the international stage as a judge for the QS World University Ranking Reimagine Award. Her role in this prestigious position reflects her dedication to contributing to global educational advancements and ensuring that students worldwide have access to quality learning.
